These Waterfalls are very attractive and creates a loud noise in the calm nature. These waterfalls are also accompanied by a clean lake, dark woods and highly hilly region. You can enjoy various small waterfalls here which are about 15-20 meters high and one of around 500 meters high. Thoseghar is really a wonderful place where you can enjoy the beauty of the nature. The best season to visit Thoseghar and enjoy is between July to November.
There is a newly constructed Platform to stand and take a good view of the waterfall. You can enter in the Vally and see where exactly the water falls except the Rainy season (due to heavy rainfall). Do not try adventure here because many people have wasted their lives due to such adventures. Rail: Satara has a railway Station, well connected with all the major cities in the state.
Road: Satara is on the Pune - Bangalore Highway and is about 115-km from Pune. There are frequent bus services from Pune and it takes about three hours drive to reach Satara. From Satara tourists can hire a taxi to reach Thoseghar.
